Loving and leading the Step MILF revolution!I love a man who is all about B.Y.O.B. ( bring your own baby) to a relationship. When I created my Step MILF shirt, I had no idea that it would be so popular.

There will be some ladies who will try and tell you that being a step mom only bring you drama, most of the time those woman are talking for their own experience. You don't have to be them. Being a step mom is the way that some of us want to roll.

Do you! ;)

The Love Me Challenge

By Yolanda Shoshana · February 16, 2013 · 0 Comments ·

Dr Diana Kirschner came on my radio show, Courtesan Candy, and I had an "aha moment", it was to have a love challenge.

Like some of you I am working on manifesting the love of my life. I actually met someone who I am crazy about who makes me feel things I have never felt for anyone else and who I feel completely myself with. Long story short, it's like he was made to order. The problem is he is married to someone else. Yep, sucks right. When I met him he was already with his girlfriend, now wife, so I have never been in a jump off situation or plan to be. I have been communicating with the universe during all of this, open to the lesson that I am suppose to learn. While my situation is no Lifetime movie, there are many layers in. He has taught me some things about myself and about love in terms of the type of man that I need in my life. Plus, it is interesting for me from a clairvoyant angle to have certain information about me and him.

I know how close I am to the being with my soulmate, it is something that I feel in my soul. I say all this to let you know that at times love is not cut and dry but to remember what you deserve. When you do, that is when you are rewarded with an amazing partner who rocks your world. There are plenty of people who always have someone in their life, but if that person is not adding value or lifting them up, what's the point. Great that they get to brag about never being alone psychically but feeling alone in a relationship is worse than being alone.

I have been thinking back on past relationships, also known as the men that did not work out. I have been through so many twists and turns in the past few years... none of those men were the one who should have be by my side. I thank my angels and guides that it did not work out. However when you meet someone who is what I call the "near miss", instead of thinking that was your last chance or it will never happen for you, get excited. What it means is that you are attracting who you want, the "near miss" is where you get to find tune everything right before the one arrives.

There are so many books and shows out there with information about what you should be doing, but you are the one who has to get out of your own way which leads me to the Love Me Challenge. I am not going to ask you to do something that I won't do, so let's do this together! First and foremost the Love Me Challenge is based in self love. That means no chasing, begging, stalking, manipulating, etc for someone to be with you. You deserve the best so if someone does not see that, they don't deserve to be a part of your world.

Now it is time to try something different when it comes to dating. If you haven't tried online dating, DO IT! It you have never tried a matchmaker, DO IT! Haven't have a friend set you up yet, DO IT! If you have done all of those things, roll up your sleeves and get back in there. Have a different friend, set you up, get on a different dating site, or go to a speed dating event. I will be doing all of it myself and reporting back. I am reading Find Your Soulmate in Six Simple Steps (which I highly recommend) , revamping my soulmate intention which is says to do and I am going to get out there.

I would love to know what you decide to do with this Love Me Challenge
so post a comment on this blog, drop me an email and join in on the #LoveMe chat I will be starting on Twitter. Even if you just want to say you had a great date or the date who showed up was 5 inches shorter than he profile said. It's all good. The point is you are not alone in this babygirl!

So, ladies, let's do this! Start fresh or if you have some men who are making the cut ( kinda) keep them around and see if they rise to the level that you need for them to be with you. Also if you are a jump off, other woman, or trying to steal someone, remember that you deserve your own damn man. If person says they are going to leave someone for you great, you tell them to give you a call when they are free, until then you will be seeing someone else too. You dig!

Love yourself first so that the love deserve boomerangs and hits you hard. I challenge you. Namaste!

Vanilla Nougat Candy Bars

By Yolanda Shoshana · February 3, 2013 · 0 Comments ·

When I got this recipe from Shauna Sever, the Next Door Baker and author of Pure Vanilla, I had to take notice. As you know I am always talking about vanilla, it's one of the top aphrodisiacs.

If you are looking for something sweet for your boo this month, try this little vanilla treat. You will have them eating out of the palm of your hands.

Vanilla Nougat Candy Bars

 • 1 2/3 cups sugar
 • 1/2 cup water
 • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
 • 1/2 teaspoon salt
 • 2 large egg whites, at room temperature
 • 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste
 • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
 • 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate, melted
 • 1/4 cup finely chopped salted nuts (I used peanuts)

 1. Lightly coat a 9x5 loaf pan with cooking spray and line with parchment paper. Lightly spray the parchment paper as well.
 2. In a medium heavy-bottomed saucepan, stir together sugar, 1/2 cup water, corn syrup, and salt. Boil over medium-high heat until temperature reaches 238 degrees F.
 3. Meanwhile, in the bowl of a stand mixer, whip egg whites with the whisk attachment until they hold soft peaks (about 2 minutes). With the mixer running on medium speed, slowly pour half of the hot syrup into the egg whites, adding just 1 to 2 tablespoons to start. This allows the eggs to warm up and prevents them from scrambling. Immediately return the saucepan with the remaining syrup to medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Continue beating egg white mixture until thick (about the consistency of marshmallow cream), then turn off the mixer.
 4. When the syrup mixture reaches 275, turn mixer back on at medium speed and slowly pour in syrup. Add in vanilla extract and paste. Increase speed to high and beat for 10 to 12 minutes, or until mixture is very thick and beginning to lose its shine. The bowl should be cool except for the very bottom. Scrape mixture into prepared pan and spread it into the corners, using lightly oiled hands. Let set at room temperature until cool, about 2 hours.
 5. Invert candy onto a cutting surface and remove parchment. Cut into 1-inch squares and place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Drizzle melted chocolate over the tops of the candies; sprinkle with nuts.

Scandal Recap- One For The Dog

By Yolanda Shoshana · January 13, 2013 · 0 Comments ·

Oliva Pope (played by Kerry Washington) is a modern courtesan to the core. She fixes the hottest of messes, has sex with the President, and can kick anybodys ass who gets in her way. I pity the fool. Due to all of this and very good writing, Scandal, get a major modern courtesan thumbs up.

What we learn from Olivia is, you go hard or go home..this is a Scandal recap. Rock it out gladiators!

Welcome my loves...

By Yolanda Shoshana · January 12, 2013 · 0 Comments ·

As usual I am blogging. Something in me said to start a new blog, so here I am. I have been in a purge and start things over mode since I unleashed my clairvoyant super powers and did a little rebranding.

So, I am a Courtesan Coach, which is a sex coach with a sensual twist. Besides sex, my coaching is about the senses because people who tap into their senses have more pleasure in all areas of their lives!
Long story short, this blog will be dedicated to tapping into your senses which courtesans were great at doing. Alot of folks get courtesans all wrong, due to the varied history of the women and what the word as meant. What they did all have in common was how they rocked "pleasure" without apologizing for it.

So, if you are ready for this..stop in and read every now and then. I would also dig it if you followed the blog.

Sending you love and light!
